For this project, I decided to create a WebAdventure game based on my college social experience. In order to do this I decided to have three main menu options in which my viewers can decide to either go out in Denver, Boulder, or the frat bars. Within these three menu items are multiple different twists, turns, and outcomes. One of the twists I decided to include was my time in Boston where I spent the second half of my freshman year and the first semester of sophomore year. Obviously since a typical night out includes drinking some of the stories were a bit wild but I felt like it made my project more fun and relatable In terms of logistics on how I created this I used Wix as well as making GIFS. The main things I learned in the labs that I incorporated were keeping my resolution at 72 since I knew this whole project would be living on a screen. I also kept my file size between 1 and 5 megabytes, 10 inches max in either direction, used RBG for the color scale, and started any GIF animations at 0.1 speed. After I finished I made sure to properly export each GIF and save them for “web legacy” so they would properly show up in the game on wix. In order to showcase all my montages I used premier pro to edit the footage and then posted them to my youtube channel. Overall, this project was a really fun time capsule for me to create and show my friends! Thank you for a great semester!
