For this project I was thinking about creating a Web Adventure surrounding a typical night out in Boulder. My other idea was to have the game revolve around different travel choices and what may go on in each different vacation; however I feel like this will get boring after a while and just overall be too predictable and flat. In order to avoid this with the “Night Out” theme I will be incorporating true stories and photos from my own life and nights out. My plan is to have 3 main categories and then to go in depth from there. The three main categories I want to incorporate are the bars on the hill, the frat houses, and then going out in Denver. After my viewers choose where they want to go out they will be faced with different decisions and drinks at each location that will ultimately lead to a true story or moment from a night out I’ve had within each location. Obviously since a typical night out includes drinking some of the stories may be a bit wild but I will choose the most respectable! In terms of logistics on how I will be doing this I am going to be using Wix as well as making GIFS. The main things I learned in the labs that I will be incorporating are keeping my resolution at 72 since this whole project will be living on a screen. I also will be keeping my file size between 1 and 5 megabytes, 10 inches max in either direction, using the RBG color scale, and starting any GIF animations at 0.1 speed. After I finish I will make sure I properly export each GIF to be saved for “web legacy” so it will properly show up in wix. I also may play around with incorporating youtube videos. It could be cool if I post the videos or photos from my real life as youtube videos and link them on autoplay so if that option happens to be hit my viewer will see the result right away!
